Members of the Milford Police Department’s Tactical Unit were conducting anti-crime patrol around the Motel 6 on Schoolhouse Road near I-95 in Milford when they spotted suspicious activities.
According to police, detectives observed the suspicious activity and made contact with Norwalk resident Barry Goodwin, who was at the motel. Further investigation determined that Goodwin was in possession of alleged crack cocaine and he was taken into police custody.
Goodwin, who lives on Avenue C in Norwalk, was arrested and charged with possession of narcotics, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a stolen license plate. Following his processing, Goodwin was released and is scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday, Oct. 15 to answer the charges.
